Discover the power of *Waiting Well* in this special four-week Advent series, where we explore the art of purposeful waiting in our fast-paced world. Through themes of hope, peace, joy, and love, each week offers insights on how to make the most of life’s in-between moments, embracing patience as a path to growth and connection. This series is designed to help anyone seeking more meaning and calm as we approach the holidays... or any season of your life that involves waiting. Join us for practical tools and timeless wisdom on finding fulfillment in the journey, not just the destination.
This sermon series is a great way to get ready for Christmas. Mark your calendars now to attend church on the four Sundays in Advent so you don't miss this encouraging and practical sermon series!
In the weeks leading up to Christmas (historically known as "Advent"), take a midweek pause to reflect, connect, and find peace. On Wednesday evenings, you're warmly invited to:
🍲 Free Soup Suppers at 5:30 PM – A delicious meal and fellowship to warm your body and soul.
🙏 Holden Evening Prayer at 7:00 PM – A beautiful and serene service of music and prayer.
This is a meaningful way to embrace the spirit of Advent as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Come for the meal, the worship, or both! Open to everyone in our community. We look forward to welcoming you (12/4, 12/11, and 12/18/2024).
Conflict is inevitable—but the Bible offers timeless wisdom for handling it in ways that build peace and understanding. In this series inspired by Ken Sande’s *The Peacemaker*, we’ll explore practical steps rooted in biblical principles for resolving conflicts, whether at home, at work, or in our communities. Each week, we’ll look at how to approach conflict thoughtfully: examining our own actions, speaking with compassion, and restoring relationships. Join us as we learn how the Bible’s insights can transform conflicts into pathways for deeper connection and genuine peace.
We spent 40 days leading up to Thanksgiving building our gratitude muscles. People thought daily about what they are grateful for and in some cases shared that gratitude with others.
It was a great campaign and some people found it to be very helpful for their overall attitude in their lives.
We're going to do it again next year. We have a dedicated email list just for the "40 Days of Gratitude" campaign. You can sign up right now and sometime in September 2025, you'll start getting emails to help you get ready for "40 Days of Gratitude 2025." Follow this link to signup for the annual 40 Days of Gratitude for 2025: http://eepurl.com/i0KWPI
Note: If you were signed up for "40 Days of Gratitude 2024" and did not unsubscribe, you are still part of the "40 Days of Gratitude" email list and will be notified when the new campaign ramps up on 2025.
